Reminiscing: Piano Pieces for Children
I remember going over to my grandmother's house when I was pretty young and grandma would play pieces from this book for me. The look of joy on her face when she would play "In Rank and File" or "Aragonaise" from El Cid really burned a wonderful memory in my mind. Also, on a couple occasions, my mom brought out her violin and played a couple tunes with me since the pieces in this book were arranged from some of the really popular classical tunes over the past 100 years.I was really excited to see that this book is still around, and I really enjoy having my current students play some of these tunes as well.
